The EOVOLT City X is equipped with a belt transmission system. It allows clean transmission without grease, requires no maintenance and avoids the risk of rust.
The NEXUS Shimano reduction hub works like a gearbox built into the rear wheel. It allows you to change gears effortlessly, even when stopped.
With its BAFANG torque sensor, the EOVOLT City X naturally assists you in your pedalling and saves your battery. The engine being the front wheel in order to make way for the Nexus 3-speed system, it is essential to be equipped with a torque sensor to avoid the skidding of the front wheel.
The EOVOLT City X is equipped with a BAFANG 36V 250W engine. Eovolt worked with BAFANG to equip the EOVOLT City X with a high-end engine and avoid any risk of the front wheel skidding.
